AutoCAD

Full drawing and plotting facilities are available at our Inverness and Wick offices with the ability to receive drawings by email or on CD in various formats. From full design and build packages to updating site working/as installed drawings ensuring a professional presentation to our clients. Competitive rates available for all AutoCAD works with fixed quotations on request.

As-installed manuals and documentation are produced in house during the course of the works enabling an effective project completion with full site documentation being available for the client at handover.  Manuals are produced utilizing the facilities and information available on the Internet enabling enhanced presentation.

Complete electronic manuals are produced utilising Microsoft products and the latest version of AutoCAD that are industry standards.  Test certification utilises the NIC-EIC & AMTECH software packages to be produced, with client view discs available as part of the overall as-installed package.

Tablets

Covering such large areas we are aware of the importance of communication.

The G & A Barnie Group use an in-house designed and developed system using tablets which allows our site personnel to transfer information from the work site back to our branches electronically. This has aided effective allocation of Engineer’s Resource to Reactive Calls, thus reducing time travelling to, and from sites, reducing lead times for ordering of replacement parts, whilst ensuring the client is kept informed at all times via electronic interface.

The tablets will eventually allow our office to send and receive information and job details instantly with our engineers on site and will eliminate the need for any paper based documents, providing considerable environmental savings.
